Business Summit Seeks Solutions

April 2 Business Summit will feature a WASHINGTON UPDATE with Brian Chase, Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Jeb Hensarling. Before joining Hensarling’s office, Brian served in the Bush Administration as NASA’s Assistant Administrator for Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs.

Chamber held a Business Summit on February 5, 2009. Over 40 local business leaders participated in breakout sessions and identified the city's strengths and weaknesses. Click here to see the results of these four breakout 'teams'. Participants also signed up to participate in at least one Chamber committee. The quarterly summits promise to bring solutions to the community through the engagement of government officials and community resources.

Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time in a community development program working together to improve the economic, civic, and cultural fortitude of the region, area and community.
